A television journalist working for an opposition-affiliated Orient News suffers serious facial injuries after an air strike north of Aleppo, Syria.
The reporter is Ebrahim Al-Khateeb, him and his crew were filming live in Handarat, Syria. All the sudden with no warning a large explosion went off nearby causing the crew to duck for cover.
Most of the crew were fine except for Al-Khateeb, who took several shrapnel chunks to the face. Dazed, confused and blinded by his own blood, Al-Khateeb had to be carried back to their vehicle. Conflict in the region has been increasing with Assad regime troops battling with Al-Qaeda affiliate Al-Nusra Front.
